1 On the menu at the top of the browser click on "Tools"
2 On the tools menu click on "Internet Options"
3 On the internet options window select the "Security" tab
4 On the security tab click the "Custom Level" button near the bottom
5 Scroll down the Security Settings window till you find the "Scripting" section
6 Enable "Active scripting"
7 Click ok on the Security Settings window
8 Click the "Yes" button on the Warning popup window
9 Click the "Ok" button on the Internet Options window
10 Close and restart your browser

1 To disable javascript in Chrome you must run Chrome with the parameters (-disable-javascript):
2 This could be built into a shortcut for Chrome.
3 To fix this you can create a fresh shortcut with no parameterss or run the Chrome directly from the command line.

4 In the Web content section check the enable javascript checkbox
5 Close the Preferences window
